One-on-one coaching: Healthy brain fitness

It is with the brain that we interact in life. Our brain controls our thoughts and every aspect of our physical, mental, spiritual, and social being. However, when the brain is unhealthy, people experience memory problems, forgetfulness, mental fatigue, poor concentration, anxiety, and depression. A healthy brain creates the environment for healthy choices and a healthy body. My Healthy Brain Fitness Coaching program consists of six principles nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress management, cognitive stimulation, and positive lifestyle choices. These principles are evidence-based and are rooted in neuroscience. The science shows that these principles empower clients with the tools to build healthier brains. A healthier brain will help clients reach their full potential, enjoy optimal health, change their lives and help them become the individuals they were designed to be.

The keys to building a better brain are simple, effective and based in science. The process of helping clients design brain fitness consists of the following four phases:

  1. Assessment Phase: client history, and assessment of current and previous lifestyle behaviors
  2. Evaluation and Planning Phase: collaborative evaluation of client history and lifestyle practices, assess client’s program readiness, collaborative planning, and prioritize steps to reach goals
  3. Education, Intervention and Implementation Phase: this phase involves education regarding current unhealthy brain practices, education regarding the science behind the 6- healthy brain interventions, and guidance in implementing brain health interventions
  4. Follow-up Phase: This stage involves short-term, and long-term intervention evaluation, with a follow-up monthly community group online platform to empower clients with tools for long-term success.
