Group Coaching: Presentations

Although group counseling is not as individualized as 1:1 counseling, I help small and large groups understand the importance and principles of sleep, stress management, brain fitness, emotional health, and healthy lifestyle choices. Groups can choose one of these areas of focus to maximize the health and wellness of the mind, body, spirit, and social aspects of life. Participants will learn principles that will lead to the path of restoration and be empowered with principles to change their lives. 

Group Sleep Presentation is a program that involves lectures on the importance of sleep, the stages of sleep, the impact of sleep deprivation on the body, diseases that can cause a lack of sleep hygiene and strategies to improve sleep. Participants are given tools to assess their sleep quality and recommendations to enhance their sleep quality. This program can be done over four consecutive hours or three 90-minute segments over 3 days.

Group Stress Management Presentation participants will learn the difference between stress states, good, bad, and ugly, and how to deal with those stressors before they become ugly. This seminar discusses the leading life stressors, how stress affects the mind and the body, how chronic stress can cause disease, the chemicals involved in stress response, and how to learn stress management with simple lifestyle practices. This program can be done over four consecutive hours or three 90-minute segments over 3 days.

Group Healthy Brain Fitness incorporates the same principles as one-on-one coaching. Participants will learn how to build a better brain using six principles, nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress management, cognitive stimulation, and positive lifestyle choices. Participants will also learn the key brain structures involved in learning and memory, key nutrients needed to build healthier brains, learn how to increase brain connections, the risk factors for dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease and the keys to prevention. This program is designed as a six-hour seminar or two-hour segments over 3 days.

Group Health and Wellness Lifestyle Presentations incorporate the same principles as the one-on-one coaching. Seven weeks to wellness uses seven evidence-based scientific principles designed to create optimum health, vitality, and restoration. Using the acronym DESTINY: Divine Trust, Exercise, Sunshine and Fresh Air, Temperance, Increase Water, Nutrition, and Your Nightly Rest, participants are given the tools to prevent, reclaim and design their destiny to better health. This program is intended to be a six-hour seminar or two-hour segments over 3 days.
